(Sumati Satakam)
Sirita vachina vachunu salilatamuga naarikela salilamu bhangin sirita boyina bovunu kari mringina velagapandu karinin sumateeMeaning of the poem (Tatparyam):
We don't know how the wealth comes and leaves, as we don't know how the water comes into a coconut and how the flesh leaves/disappears from Wood-apple (Velagapandu) when an elephant eats in it.Explanation:
We pour water to coconut tree. that water does not contain any sweet or sugar, but coconut water is Sooo sweet... How?, we don't KNOW. How you earn/get your wealth(money) with your Hard work, same as when you want to drink the coconut water you need to pluck it and make a hole in it as hard as it. Elephant eats FLESH of wood apple without any hole into it. How?, we don't KNOW. In the same way Wealth comes without knowlege of any body AS water into the coconut. The same Wealth Leaves without anybody's command or demand in the same way as flesh in the wood apple when elephant eats it. So be careful, dont' feel proud or Egoistic when WEALTH comes to you, no one be a part of your life till end. You dont know when it VANISHES as same as flesh in the WOOD APPLE. So be yourself, as you are in all the stages of your life like Good or bad, thick or thin, gain or loss, happy or pathetic, etc., enjoy and make your life worthful in any situation.Thank you all
